It was mate.

he made Carragher look like the shit defender he was, I'm sure the scousers had to target him, and I'm sure there was more than one yellow card for tackles on Hines.

I too missed the hidden jibe in your question, but then I've been living up North quite a while.
Care to explain?

Thanks

Always enjoy hearing which of our players other fans rate. Helps me adjust the tinted specs.

Re: View From The Opposition - Burnley
Wasn't it a game against Liverpool (I think) about five years ago when Hines was brilliant - full of direct running and gave the defenders a torrid time. Torres was even better though and they ended up winning the game even though we played really well?

Thanks Vinny.

They missed the hidden jibe within my question, but then they are Northerners, so I guess this is to be expected?

Re: View From The Opposition - Burnley
It wasn't Hines knee injury that has hindered him it was the fact that despite having pace in abundance he has League 2 ability.

Eeee, it'd be grand t'ave a "markee" (sic) signing, ey oop.

Good lads, relatively speaking. Same as most non glamour clubs.

What's Plymouth's problem, then?

Shame to hear about Zavon Hines. That knee injury really fucked him up.

Stop getting decent blokes on here!

They all missed the joke in the clever question about media condescension, though, so I can console myself that they are all a bit thick. Congrats to whoever framed that one.

Re: View From The Opposition - Burnley
For Northerners, they don't seem too bad. I think it's laughable that they look at Blackpool as minnows, when only a few years back they were themselves in the EPL.

As ever, West Ham are still looked as the team that opposing fans think they can beat / or bounce back against.
